Blue Moon ushering in ones(s) decade.

On a late afternoon on an early winter day,

just a few days after winter solstice and

on the eve of new year,

a group of friends

walked outside of a small inn

and up to the top of a knoll

looking towards the horizon.

Upon us,

a full moon rose calmly over the horizon

basking in reflective light.

a cherished blue moon

on New Year’s Eve

on this decade of the one(S).
